About Eastlyn & Joshua

Wedding and Elopement Photographers Based in Ohio and Jackson Hole

We're Eastlyn and Joshua — a married photography team who believe that your story is more than a timeline or a checklist. It’s a lived experience, shaped by the people you love and the emotions you feel in each fleeting moment.

Over the past decade, we've photographed weddings and elopements across the U.S. and internationally — from the Midwest to the mountains, from intimate backyard gatherings to remote vow exchanges in Patagonia.

We’re currently based in Ohio and deeply connected to Jackson Hole, which means we get the best of both worlds: the refined beauty of timeless weddings in Columbus, Dayton, and Cincinnati, and the wild-hearted wonder of elopements in Grand Teton National Park and beyond.

What we’re drawn to — always — is honesty. Real, unscripted moments. Unspoken emotion. Deep breaths before walking down the aisle. A loved one’s touch. The ways you are most you, when you’re with your person.

Our Approach

Our work is rooted in observation, intuition, and presence. We’ll guide you when needed, but mostly, we’re there to listen — to read the light, feel the moment, and translate it into imagery that reflects who you are and how it all felt.

We don’t believe in stiff posing or overly curated scenes. Our photography is artful, emotional, and grounded — designed to feel like you, not a version of someone else’s story.

Our Style

We’re not “light and airy.” We’re not “dark and moody.” Our photography lives in the in-between: natural, vivid, cinematic, and real.

We use true-to-life color and rich light to capture the depth of your love, the emotion in a fleeting look, and the wild beauty of the place you chose to say yes. Our editing style is timeless—not trendy—so your images will always feel like you, no matter what year it is.

The result? Photographs that are elegant, honest, and artistic. You get the warmth of documentary storytelling, the beauty of fine art, and the emotional depth that makes a moment unforgettable.

A Little More About Us

We love to travel — but we also really love coming home.

Ohio has our hearts because it's where our family roots are. When we’re not photographing weddings or on the road for elopements, we’re probably doing something simple and grounding: taking a long walk through a metro park, planting something new in the garden, or scouring antique shops for items that hold a sense of legacy.

Our love for travel is deeply tied to our work. From the beginning, we believed that if we were going to call ourselves travel photographers, we needed to live that—through personal experience and through the lens. So far, we’ve explored 33 U.S. national parks and photographed stories across 24 countries, always chasing the balance between human connection and breathtaking landscapes.

When people ask our favorite place we’ve been, our answer is easy: Jackson Hole, Wyoming. It feels like a second home. But we’ve also fallen in love with places like Torres del Paine in Patagonia, the Fiordlands of New Zealand, and the alpine beauty of the Faroe Islands, Swiss Alps, and Chamonix.

Hiking is our favorite way to be together — especially when the trail ends in a view or an icy lake to jump into. That same sense of exploration shows up in how we photograph: always looking for what’s honest, beautiful, and true.

Let’s Tell Your Story

We're calm, prepared, and deeply invested in the people we work with. And we genuinely care that you love your photos not just today, but 10, 20, 50 years from now.

Whether you're planning a full wedding weekend in Ohio or exchanging vows on a trail in Jackson Hole, we’re ready to document it in a way that feels true to you.

Kind Words

...though we fell in love with their amazing photography to begin with, it wasn’t until after we met them that we realized how little their work has to do with actual light, shutter speed, or aperture, but rather with their desire to live life fully, capture and tell stories, and marvel at the moments that make love beautiful and unique.
You are above and beyond. You captured our day so beautifully! The love is there. The joy. Our families. Our friends. The camp-y-ness. The fun. The details. All of it is there. It’s really more than I could have imagined. I cannot understate how much I appreciate everything you and Joshua have done. Thank you for being amazing. You are truly artists.
We could not ask for a better experience with our photographers! Eastlyn and Joshua took the time to know us and share our story meaningfully through their photography. They were professional, diligent, and creatively invested. We loved our time with them and felt truly known. We recommend them 100% to future clients!
When we received our wedding photos, they brought us right back to those moments. They were beautiful. Their edits perfectly illustrated the way the day had felt. The tones were soft and fresh, making the images look timeless rather than on trend. The photos themselves felt like poetry. They perfectly tell the story of our day with authentic smiles, laughs, and tender moments. There were the classic group portraits to keep the family happy, but other than that, each captured moment depicts a real memory rather than a forced pose, and they worked in such a way that we rarely knew we were being photographed. Eastlyn and Joshua were such a huge part of our wedding, and we’ll forever cherish the memories they’ve given us. We’re so grateful for everything they’ve done for us, and we honestly couldn’t recommend them more.
I don’t even know where to start…. If you are looking for professional, skilled, attentive photographers, you have found the right couple. Eastlyn and Joshua were so amazing to work with. They were easy to communicate with and quick to respond to my several inquiries. They did their homework on our elopement location and made sure it would capture all the aspects I was looking for. During the wedding day, they were calm and patient, making my nerves disappear. We had so much fun taking our photos and I can’t stop looking at the finished products. Our photos are perfect and we couldn’t be happier with our photographer choice!
