The day began in gorgeous mountain resort homes, where the wedding parties got ready with laughter, stories, and sunlight streaming through the windows. Lighting: There is no shade at the lodge, so group photos may be better taken before you arrive at the top. The shadow hits the terrace before the valley, so in the evening, the valley below may be overexposed during the ceremony. Alternatively, if exposing for the valley, the ceremony will be silhouetted. Once the sun dips behind the peaks, it’s the perfect timing for your Newly Wed photos—you’ll be able to have proper exposure with a stunning background view.
