Kim & Brandon knew they wanted a small intimate wedding since neither of them like to be the center of attention. The ranch itself has everything—from wildflowers fields to waterfalls to a woodland area perfectly cleared for a ceremony space. For Chase and Karina’s wedding, the raw and wild ceremony arbor was adored in hanging florals, and at the entrance to the aisle stood a doorway of hanging white petals. The owners of the ranch, Amy and Gary, have a keen eye for design, and created the arbor—it stands ready for all their couples; and the Twilight inspired floral installation was beautifully crafted by the flower goddess Flohemian Floral.

The forecast called for rain for the entire day, but until late afternoon there was nothing but sunshine. Seth & Hailey were able to have their first look and take bridal party portraits with us in the warmth of full afternoon sun. When we were finished with portraits, a thunderstorm rolled in and it poured; but the rain only stayed long enough to cool off the August heat. The skies cleared in time for their beautiful outdoor ceremony.
